Statewide Action Network
Safe Routes to School (SRTS) has been a concerted, organized movement in the State of Washington for well over a decade. In this period of time, agencies and advocates have gained a wealth of experience, and now have collective wisdom for best practices in SRTS. Now is the time to connect and work to strengthen SRTS across Washington. Together, we will be greater than the sum of our individual efforts.
The SRTS Action Network is a listserv-based community of people across the State who have joined together to make walking and biking to school more safe, practical and fun. We invite you to join the coalition by filling out this quick survey. The goals of the SRTS Action Network are to:
- Share models for successful programs
- Provide training on how to start and sustain SRTS programs
- Develop and expand partnerships
- Gather input for potential policy advancements
- Identify needs and opportunities for action
